6. Additional Tracking Technologies
6.1 Tracking Pixels
To measure our Platform's performance, optimize campaigns, and better understand visitor behavior, KVTemplate uses tracking pixels (also known as pixel tags, web beacons, or tracking pixels) from third-party providers. These pixels are invisible code snippets that load when you visit our pages and allow those providers to collect statistical and audience data.
The providers whose pixels we currently use include:
- Google Analytics / Google Ads: For audience analysis, conversion measurement, and advertising campaign optimization.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram): For conversion tracking, remarketing, and ad performance measurement.
- TikTok: For conversion tracking, custom audiences, and advertising campaign optimization on the TikTok platform.
The data collected by these pixels is processed in accordance with Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPD) and each provider's privacy policies. You can manage your preferences regarding these pixels through our cookie banner when you enter the Platform, where you can accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies.
Each third-party provider is exclusively responsible for processing the data it collects through its own pixels. For more information, please consult the privacy policies of Google, Meta, and TikTok.
6.2 Restaurant's Own Pixels (Bio Pages and Digital Menus)
Restaurants using KVTemplate have the ability to install their own tracking pixels (Google, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, or others) on their bio pages and digital menus as part of the Platform's functionalities. These pixels are configured and managed exclusively by each restaurant from their administration panel.
IMPORTANT: KVTemplate does not install, configure, manage, or have access to the data collected by the restaurant's own pixels. Each restaurant is the sole and exclusive responsible party for: (a) adequately informing visitors to their digital menu and bio page about the use of such pixels; (b) obtaining the necessary consents when required by law; (c) complying with the LOPD, Ecuadorian data protection regulations, and each pixel provider's policies; and (d) responding to any claim, sanction, or infringement arising from the use of their own pixels.
6.3 Local Storage
We use localStorage to store information in your browser similarly to cookies, but with greater capacity. It is used to save your preferences and session data.
